As the founder and president of The Sterling Group, I have been leading a boutique executive search consulting firm that advises companies seeking top talent among service academy graduates and others with military experience for over 16 years. My expertise lies in operations and leadership roles in private equity-backed and venture capital-funded environments, serving a range of sectors such as consumer, industrials, healthcare, energy, technology, and financial services. I have a proven track record of successfully completing searches for a diverse client base, including Fortune 1000 companies, private equity portfolio companies, and family offices. I leverage my skills in new business development, process improvement, and social networking to deliver high-quality results and build long-term relationships with clients and candidates. Prior to founding The Sterling Group in 2007, I held senior leadership positions with entrepreneurial start-up companies, most notably as GM/COO of an Inc. 500 company that was sold in 2002. I also served in the U.S. Army as an Infantry Captain from 1995 to 2000 and earned my Airborne Wings and Ranger Tab.
